Neither wet weather nor soggy ground could deter the people of Brisbane from coming and enjoying the fun of Matsuri Brisbane. PHOENIX LAW and ASSOCIATES co-sponsored Matsuri with RAMEN DANBO, who was cooking beautiful bowls of ramen all day at the event.
Phoenix Law & Associates Director, Hideki Shimizu, spoke to all the distinguished guests about the origins of Matsuri; a Japanese myth that encourages people to have fun, and make a lot of noise through dance and music to bring out the Sun God. Our wish was granted with a successful event and blue skies and sunshine in the afternoon.
We were also fortunate to have some of our star players from BRISBANE BANDITS visiting our stall and signing autographs and having their photos taken with their fans. The Inflatable batting cage was a big hit for big and small children at the Matsuri Festival. Guests queued all day to bat and only stopped coming back for another turn at the end of the Festival. Thank you to Brisbane Bandits and BRISBANE PHOENIX players for manning and helping with the batting cage. It is a pleasure to support another multicultural event in our lovely city.
